Biography
Maria das Graças Ferreira, aka Graça Graúna, belongs to the Potiguara people. Writer, poet and literary critic, she has a degree, master's degree and doctorate in Literature from UFPE and a post-doctorate in Literature, Education and Indigenous Rights from UMESP. She published Canto mestizo (1999), Tessituras da terra (2000), Tear da Palavra (2001), Flor da Mata (haikus, 2014). She participates in several poetic anthologies in Brazil and abroad.
