Dolores Reyes (1978) is a contemporary Argentine writer and teacher. Born in Buenos Aires and raised in the suburbs of the Argentine capital, she graduated in Greek and Classical Literature at the University of Buenos Aires and worked as a teacher at primary school.

Known for her feminist activism and mother of seven children, Reyes worked hard finding time to write. She wake up before everyone else to dedicate herself to writing every day. In this way, she wrote her first book, Eartheater (2019), which was a great success in sales and critical. It was translated into multiple languages and boosted her name as one of the most relevant writers in Latin America currently. She launched her second short novel, a sequel to the first, called Miseria in 2023.

Her texts deal with topics such as gender violence, feminicide and motherhood from the perspective of women from Argentine outskirts.
