South American Way

I am from South America ( I know you don't know about it) is a reading challenge to dive into the culture of this part of the world.

After a couple of years abroad, I noticed 2 things: 

​

• the first one is people from other continents hardly know about South America. (Yes, I heard people saying Brazil is in Europe, for example). 

• Then I realized Brazilians do not know much about our neighbors either.

 

Here I will share my steps on this reading journey to correct such character flaws of this brasileña. And maybe, you can get on board with me in this challenge.

The Rules Are:

​

• There will be 13 countries.

• For each country, I will read at least 2 books (1 Female writer and one Male writer).

• Enjoying the reading path is the crucial part. The objective is to understand part of the culture and ideas through books, mainly literature. Not to dive into anxiety due to a crazy race against the checklist.

So the Goal is 26 books, but as the former Brazilian president said: "We are not going to set a target. We're going to leave an open goal. When we reach the goal, we double the goal."
